So, what did this gal do today?
Besides play with her make up and bother her dog... not to much.
Today was just one of those days like most days of the year that start and end with no real significance.
I tried taking a picture of him but he can never stay still.

A Tea Party Dilemma

Soo I saw the most beautiful vintage dress on etsy. The model looked like a true ballerina in it. I loved it, so I bought it. I noticed that the measurements said it was a 24' waist. Sadly I am not a 24 waist lol, but I just figured its a dress, there can always be something done to the dress to make it fit you... right? But oh boy was I wrong. I took it to 2 different tailors and they both told me the same thing. They said I couldn't make it bigger because there in no extra fabric.
Look for yourself at how pretty this dress is, wouldn't you be upset too ?
I really didn't have any particular event to wear it to. But I can sometimes be a nut and ill wear it to a casual event and look completely odd. I don't mind.

Funny Face

Don't you just love her?
She is a classic fashion icon.
She gave the little black dress life.
Sometimes I wish I could wear puffy dresses everyday like they used to in the good old days without people starring at me like I am a complete nutcase.
And those hats, I absolutely love them. My friend thinks they look like grandma hats but I find them so elegant. Its such a shame I could never wear them. I would probably look like a complete idiot to most people if I would wear a hat like that.

On A Rainy Day

Today was a really gloomy rainy day, but I must admit that didn't bother me at all. Surprisingly I wanted it to rain, I thought it would be a perfect day to wear my new rain-boots ( well they are not really new, I bought them over the summer but never got a chance to wear them.)

Walking In The Shoes Of A Man: Part II

Getting out of school early is great, now I have more time to put towards my blog . I am very excited!!!
As you can see from my last post I am beginning to like menswear A LOT. Therefore I bought myself a really nice pair of pleated boy trousers from zara. ( This might not sound like a big deal, but I literally think the last time I bought a pair of pants was two years ago lol o_O)

I normally wear a lot of frilly dresses but lately I have been intrigued by menswear. Obviously I don't plan on throwing away all my dresses but its nice to change it up a bit. This is just something I put together today

Black Leather Shorts

There are so many things that I want lately, and I cant find any of them for a reasonable price.


I have been on the hunt for a pair of leather black high waisted shorts like these ^ but these cost $320.25 . They are nice but I'm not willing to spend that much on shorts. I've been looking everywhere for them but I just cant find a pair for a reasonable price.
If anybody knows of a place where I can find a nice pair please please please tell me :)

Things I Found In The Streets Of New York

Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while. I've been pretty busy lately, but I thought this would be a great post.
I've been taking some classes, and I had to do a project on fashion you can find in the streets of New York. We had to pick a trend, and I picked ballerina inspired fashion. These are some of the things that I found. ( Surprisingly, most people didn't have a problem with me taking pictures of them lol)

4th of July!

To be quite frank I had a horrible 4th of July. I tried to make the best out of it, but it was a challenge. But like they say " Make the best out of a bad situation"
On a different note, this is what I wore today. I really liked the dress. I got it in Urban Outfitters and it was a great price too, originally $78 but it was on sale for $29 :)
